Secumind CL-500 lamination media

Patch film and overlay foil are the two types of lamination media we offer for the CL-500 lamination module.

Much like paintings in a gallery, printed images on a card must be protected from the elements which can degrade the image. We recommend the 1.0/0.6 mil patch film for all-round durabilty against humidity, water and UV light.

 

Besides, durability, security is yet another factor we consider in the capacity of our lamination media to create "safe cards." An arbritrary patch or hologram adds a unique customization, identity protection, anti-counterfeit, mis-use-proof functionality to each card.

 

Overlay foil also protects cards against humidity, water and UV light but to a lesser degree.Plus, it offers little durability to abrasion. Covering the surface of the card with a hologram significantly minimizes this problem.Overlay foil is ideal for card decoration.Secumind offers both generic and custom hologram design

• Secumind ® Customized Holographic Patch Ribbon for CL-500 Lamination Module
• An overlay ribbon with customer specific holographic design for the very high protection of the card surface against physical impact. Unique holographic effect for ultra high security.
• The design will be exclusively manufactured for one customer only. In continuous format. For the lamination of the card after the print in retransfer printers. Lamination of a 0.015mm thick patch on the card surface.
  
• One roll for 600 cards, one side.
