Secumind SECU-ITW-CPL1.0 Laminate provides a physical layer of protection from the elements such as water light and hunmidity. In addition the embeddeded holograophic 2_D Globes design hinders counterfeiting and tampering.

 

A printer with lamination capability is needed in order to use Secumind SECU-ITW-CPL1.0

 

Secumind printers require specialized media to function properly. To maximize printed card quality and durability, as well as printhead life and overall printer reliability, use only genuine Secumind media

Patch film and overlay foil are the two types of lamination media we offer for the CL-500 lamination module.

Much like paintings in a gallery, printed images on a card must be protected from the elements which can degrade the image. We recommend the 1.0/0.6 mil patch film for all-round durabilty against humidity, water and UV light.

 

Besides, durability, security is yet another factor we consider in the capacity of our lamination media to create "safe cards." An arbritrary patch or hologram adds a unique customization, identity protection, anti-counterfeit, mis-use-proof functionality to each card.

 

Overlay foil also protects cards against humidity, water and UV light but to a lesser degree.Plus, it offers little durability to abrasion. Covering the surface of the card with a hologram significantly minimizes this problem.Overlay foil is ideal for card decoration.Secumind offers both generic and custom hologram design
